I have worked with both business communities and - though not using Jive - with non-profits. I am finding the following:
- There is a wider generational range in the non-profits, and it often skews toward retirees
- There is also a wider range of technical comfort and experience in non-profit groups
- Because working with the community is often not a full-time role, people get disoriented more easily, and it takes longer to get them fully engaged in the virtual community
Is that consistent with other people? Are there any Jive implementations in pure non-profits?
